God’s Gift of Life
It's the time of the year again when I give thanks for another year of life.
Looking back at the years I've taken for granted, it makes me realize that LIFE is the greatest gift of all!
God gives us time
for our stories to be told,
for our journeys to be made,
for our purpose to unfold.
God gives us time to grow stronger in His grace,
to become who we are born to be;
to find our unique place on His creation
God made us different
from every other person in the world
on purpose
Birthday is a day for celebrating
our lives, and all the unique plans God has for us
Each birthday is a blessing from the Lord
With God in our world,
we aren’t accidents
or incidents;
we are gifts to the world,
divine works of art,
signed by God Himself.
Let's celebrate a day
alive with promise,
rich with possibilities,
filled with the wonder
of His love for us.
